Yes—CCB offers limited options if you need additional time to complete your certification renewal.


Automatic Grace Period

  • All certificants receive an automatic one-month grace period following their renewal date.


Optional Renewal Extensions

If additional time is needed beyond the grace period, you may purchase an extension through your online account:

  • 1-month extension: $50

  • 2-month extension: $100 (maximum extension available)

How to Purchase an Extension

  1. Log in to your account using your username and password

  2. Click Certification

  3. Select Purchase Extension

  4. Choose either the 1-month or 2-month option


Extensions allow additional time to earn and submit the required 40 CCB-approved CEUs, including a minimum of 20 live CEUs.

Important Notes

  • Extensions are intended solely to allow additional time to complete CEU requirements

  • Refunds are not provided for unused extension requests

  • A maximum of two months may be purchased beyond the grace period
