1. Continuing Education (CEUs)
Within your two-year certification period, you must earn and submit:
40 CCB-approved CEUs
At least 20 CEUs must be earned from live training or events
Important CEU notes:
CEUs earned before you passed your exam do not carry into your renewal period
CEUs must be earned within your current two-year renewal cycle
Excess CEUs do not roll over into a future renewal period
2. Renewal Application & Attestations
Once your CEUs are complete, you’ll need to login, complete and submit your online renewal application, which includes:
Attestation that your CEUs on file are accurate
Disclosure of any felony criminal convictions (if applicable)
Acknowledgement of the current CCB renewal policies and procedures
Acknowledgement of the Professional Code of Ethics for the certification you hold
After submitting the renewal application and fee, your certification will be renewed for the next certification period. Note, the only way to access your certification renewal invoice for payment, is to complete the required application and acknowledgements.
3. Renewal Timing
You may renew early once you meet all requirements
If you renew early, your account will continue to show your current certification period until the next renewal cycle officially begins
4. Renewal Fees
$145 for members
$265 for non-members
(Fees are subject to change.)
Helpful Reminders
Certification renewal follows commonly accepted standards, including ISO-aligned practices
Renewal eligibility and CEU compliance are self-managed by the certificant
Reviewing your renewal status and CEUs in your online account is the best way to track progress
If you’re unsure how many CEUs you currently have on file or when your renewal window opens, logging into your account is a great place to start. If questions remain after reviewing your account, feel free to reply and we’re happy to help.
